CADCIM Technologies announces the release of Autodesk Inventor for Designers Release 9 textbook by Prof. Sham Tickoo of Purdue University Calumet. Please visit www.cadcim.com for more information.

Autodesk Inventor for Designers Release 9 textbook is written with the tutorial point of view and learn-by-doing as the theme. About 40 mechanical engineering industry examples are used as tutorials in this textbook and an additional 30 as exercises that enable the user relate the models created in this textbook with the actual mechanical industry designs.

This textbook consists of 15 chapters covering the Part, Assembly, Drawing, Presentation, Sheet Metal, and Weldment modules of Autodesk Inventor 9. Every chapter in this textbook begins with a command section that provides a detailed explanation of the commands and tools.
